I grew up in Cypress, just outside Houston, raised by my parents, Adrienne and Muhammad, who came to this country as immigrants. I was the first person in my direct family to go to college, and for as long as I can remember, I wanted to be a doctor.
My first real job was at my family's Marble Slab Creamery franchise. Standing behind that counter taught me how a small business actually runs, the margins, the people, the daily fires, and it still shapes how I see every operator I work with.
I graduated from Cy-Fair High School in 2008, studied pre-med at Baylor University through 2012, and went on to McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, in the Texas Medical Center.
Somewhere along the way I learned something about myself. I'm a problem solver before anything else, and I realized I could help more people by fixing the broken systems around medicine than by seeing patients one at a time. So straight out of medical school, I took a different path.
I started at Valhalla Healthcare, an AI health-tech company, and helped grow it from serving independent practices to large health systems. Wanting to go deeper into agentic AI, the cutting edge of clinical and operational workflows, I joined Trase AI in October 2025. That's where a lot of my strongest work has happened, including agentic deployments at Duke Health and other large healthcare enterprises.
