How this site handles the information you share, and the terms for using it.
This website (alexbaqui.com, the "Site") is operated by Alex Baqui, MD ("I" or "me"), an independent AI consultant based in Houston, Texas.
Privacy Policy
Who is responsible
I run this Site personally and am responsible for the personal information described in this policy. This policy applies only to alexbaqui.com.
What the contact form collects
Other than the technical data described below, the Site collects personal information only when you choose to send a message through the contact form. The form asks for:
- Your name and email address (required)
- Your company (optional)
- The option you choose under "Which best describes you?" (optional)
- Anything else you add in the message box (optional)
The Site does not require an account and does not ask for sensitive personal information. Please do not submit confidential information or protected health information (PHI) through the form. If you send that kind of information anyway, I may delete it without keeping a copy.
How I use it
I use what you send to reply to you and to discuss possible work together. I also keep a record of our conversation so I can follow up. I may disclose information when the law requires it or when needed to protect the Site, my rights or someone's safety. I do not sell or rent your information or share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Service providers
A few providers help me run the Site and handle information for me:
- Wix hosts the Site and stores contact form submissions after screening them for spam. It also saves your name, email address and company as a contact in its customer relationship management (CRM) tools, and it emails me when a new message arrives.
- Google Fonts supplies some of the Site's typefaces. When a page loads them, your browser connects to Google, which receives your IP address and basic browser information.
- My email provider receives the notification from Wix, including what you wrote in the form.
These providers may process information in the United States and other countries.
Cookies and technical data
I do not add analytics, advertising or tracking tools to the Site. Like any website, the servers that deliver it receive technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. Wix and the content delivery and security services it uses (such as Cloudflare) may log this information and may set cookies that help protect the Site from bots and abuse.
Tracking and Do Not Track
Some browsers can send a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. The Site works the same way whether or not your browser sends one, because I do not add analytics, advertising or cross-site tracking tools to it. The providers described above do receive technical information, such as your IP address, when they deliver pages, fonts and security checks. Their own privacy policies govern how they handle it.
How long I keep it
I keep what you submit only as long as I need it for our conversation and for reasonable business records.
Your choices and requests
You can ask for a copy of the information you sent. You can also ask me to correct or delete it. To make a request, use the contact form or reply to any email I have sent you, and say what you need. I may need to confirm the request came from you, for example by replying to the email address you used.
Security
The Site uses HTTPS, and the contact form sends your message to Wix over an encrypted connection. In the Wix dashboard, form submissions are visible only to me and people I authorize. No website or storage system is perfectly secure, so I cannot guarantee the security of information sent over the internet.
Children
The Site is intended for a business audience and is not directed to children. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent me information, contact me through the form and I will delete it.
Changes to this policy
I may update this policy from time to time. When I do, I will post the updated policy on this page and change the effective date above.
Terms of Use
Acceptance
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Purpose of the Site
The Site provides general information about Alex Baqui's independent AI consulting practice. Its content is for general informational purposes only. It is not professional, legal, financial, or medical advice, and nothing on the Site, or in any response to a contact-form submission, creates a consultant-client, physician-patient, or other professional relationship.
No warranties
The Site and its content are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, or availability.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alex Baqui is not liable for any damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Site.
Intellectual property
The text, design, and other original content on the Site are owned by Alex Baqui and may not be copied or reused without permission. Company and product names referenced on the Site are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and descriptive purposes only; their mention does not imply endorsement.
Submissions
Please do not send confidential information or protected health information (PHI) through the contact form. Information you submit is handled as described in the Privacy Policy above.

The Site may link to third-party websites. I am not responsible for the content or practices of those sites.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
